The Portsmouth & Gosport History Week is back for 2022

History Week was established to promote, protect and support the historical places of interest in our local area. It creates awareness of the immensely valuable work undertaken by local groups and organisations, and supports them in their future endeavours. 


Portsmouth & Gosport History Week will dazzle once again from August 1st to 7th (2022)

History Week is due to take place during the first week of August (2022) 1st-7th.

Portsmouth & Gosport History Week is a local celebration of culture, heritage and traditions - we do this through history inspired activities, events and projects. 

 Portsmouth & Gosport History Week will comence on the 1st of August 2022 and finish on the 7th. 

From June onwards you can collect your free 2022 History Week programs from selected libraries, shops and museums - this will tell you everything you need to know. 

Alternatively you can visit this website from that date.
